Actually, that’s a good question. Even with the migration to the newer consoles there is easily a greater density of active PS2 gamers than Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and possibly Wii players combined. Yet this year’s Christmas coverage and buyer’s guides are hardly falling in the console’s favour eh?<\/p>\n
I guess it’s one of the staples of getting old, people forget about you. Still retirement has its perks, and the PS2 has showcased a few interesting gems over the past few months. Furthermore, PS2 games are super cheap at this stage in its life, so they make for easy to buy, fun to play stocking fillers, alongside your Fallout 3, Gears of War 2 and Little Big Planet. Really, you can’t go wrong with half-price, quality assured games this Christmas and the PS2 has a number of good selections.
