Thanks Neelesh, I would have liked to have explored the evolution of these systems but unfortunately I was pinned down to a word count which I already exceeded.

Dissecting MGS4 camera system is a rather unequivocal perceptive, since most of the angles that have been implemented by Kojima productions have been largely taken right off their their hybrid contender "Splinter Cell". The mechanics of gaming remain a question of regular debate, if this study was conducted with MGs3 and subsistence kept in mind you would have seen a gradual evolution in the system of camera's implemented in the game, the original MGS games relied heavily on the top down perspective which were basically moulds of the NES/Mx systems being played out into the three dimensional realm.

MGS4 production was already well under way when, MGS3 was being conceived of as a game, Kojima was essentially trying out numerous mechanics that would eventually transcend into the MGS4 one of them being the camouflage system, the online component and finally wat would be fixed by the end of the process of trial and error would be the camera system in subsistence. The vivid description and terminology that have been utilized in describing a post modern construct may be applauded but its history and detail with which the subject in discussion has been dealt with is rather weak, including some basic points of reference with regard to the previous games in the series would have been better.
