Yeah I totally agree. Video goes a long way to driving home your message which is why I want to do a lot with it. Unfortunately it does require time and equipment.

Luckily all of my capturing equipment came free with a laptop my twin other bought. So I am very fortunate.

I do want to start using more video in regular posts to further aid the main textual content.

This is a great idea! I wish more more of us would incorporate gameplay footage this way. When you think of how we rely on clips from films and television as reference points for articles or even scholarship, it’s always seemed unfortunate to me that we rarely accompany video game essays with similarly appropriate footage. I can easily find any number Youtube videos, but rarely can I find the exact scene or moment I’m looking for to support the specific thing I’m writing about. Few of us have the capture equipment to do this easily.

I look forward to seeing where you go with this.
